BINDING PERSONAL COPIES OF THESES and DISSERTATIONS Greetings! Please forward this message to graduate students interested in making arrangements to bind their own personal copies of their theses or dissertations. 1. Check in at the Bull's Head Bookshop (in the Student Union) desk. 2. Inform one of the staff members there that you want to have your own copy of your thesis or dissertation bound. 3. You will be given forms to complete and after doing so, you will be asked to pay in advance for the binding service. At this point I do not know the cost of binding your personal copy, but I doubt that it could exceed $20 and would very likely be much less. Also, I do not know how long it takes to bind individual copies; it probably will take several weeks, perhaps even a month or more. [Note: this is the amount of time it takes for the bound copies of theses and dissertations to be returned to our Park Library *after* we receive the papers and subsequently send them to Davis Library's binding collection department for shipment to the University's journal/book binding contractor.] As for any other questions you have about this process, please direct them to the Bull's Head Bookshop staff members.
