The Globe and Mail band! Performing Wednesday night in the 3rd floor loft of the Indian Motorcycle Cafe and Lounge Wednesday night. The band's performance was organized as a News Division "event" by Denise Jones, Justin Scroggs and Celia Donnelly. It was The Globe and Mail's contribution to the conference. The cafe was liberally adorned with Indian motorcycles, actual and photo (as this one is). "The Indian Motorcycle company was founded in 1901 in Springfield, MA, two years before Harley-Davidson. It was acquired by the owners of Chris-Craft in 2004. Indian motorcycle represents the only true American-made heavyweight cruiser alternative to Harley-Davidson.
