About the Park Library
The Park Library is named in honor of Roy H. Park, North Carolina native and founder of Park Communications. The Park Library opened its 5,000 square-foot quarters in July 1999. Its goal is to meet the educational and research needs of students and faculty at the University of North Carolina’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Fall 2009 Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sunday: 5:30-8:30 pm
Exceptions
- Limited hours during Fall Break
(Wed., Oct. 22 to Sunday Oct. 25) - Closed during Thanksgiving Break
(Wed., Nov. 25 to Sunday Nov. 29)
Library policies were modified in summer, 2009.
- Food and beverages are permitted. Please be neat!
- Books circulate for up to 30 days. Please be familiar with the Park Library loan policies to avoid fines.
