Belle Meade Plantation
Nashville, Tennessee
![]() Belle Meade Plantation (above) traces its history to 1807 when Virginian John Harding bought 250 acres on the Natchez Trace. It became one of the first Thoroughbred farms in America. Belle Meade's Carriage House (right) offered a unique setting for our News Division's awards banquet. The Carriage House, with adjoining porches and breezeway, housed nearly 130 members for a gala evening. |
