  • Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC)
    Articles in communication, mass media, and advertising. Coverage varies, but some back to early 1900s.

  • PsycINFO
    Scholarly articles in psychology, plus medicine, education, social science, & business. 1872-present.

  • best bet! search all three together (Academic Search Complete, CMMC, and PsycINFO)

  • Web of Science (ISI)
    Scholarly journal articles in the social sciences, including communication science (also hard science & arts & humanities). Excellent for citation searching. 1955- present.

    Indexes scholarly journals and magazines in all areas of education, from early intervention (birth to age three), preschool, K-12 (public and private), and higher education. 1966-present.

  • Sociological Abstracts
